Inspired by @amyrysavy & @kellyparkerschirmer of the @colorthrowdown #ctd791 #cardchallenge this weekend, of which the colours were grey, magenta and aqua. My latest SSS order is not into Canada yet, so I played around with some old @honeybeestamps and @simonsaysstamp favourites. Of course I had layer upon layer of mica sprays, oxide inks, stencils, texture paste and embossing glazes, embossing folders, foundry wax, liquid pearls, splatter, die cuts, vellum and embellishments, lol. The secret ingredient? Nail polish, because I don't possess any magenta ink, lol. This week’s @colorthrowdown #cardchallenge colours were yellow, green and aqua. As they were such springy, happy tones, I put together a How Are You card to send someone a howdy do, lol. My Spellbinders Fresh Picked Anemones was supposed to show this weekend, but alas, must be delayed so I pulled out some delightful Simon Says Stamp Perky Flowers instead. The colours this week for the @colorthrowdown #cardchallenge #ctd789 were red, gold and navy blue. Yesterday, I thought, hmmm, you could use your new #Betterpress Magnolia plates and make some Sieboldii Magnolias and your own background at the same time for the @simonsaysstamp Monday challenge… You might agree, we’re back to something a little more me for this week’s @colorthrowdown challenge #ctd787 . The colours of aqua, olive green and teal were still not a combo I would have reached for initially, but we have a card, lol. This week's @colorthrowdown #cardchallenge colours: brown, pink and cream. #ctd786 Yeah, on time for the @colorthrowdown #ctd784 in colours light blue, grey and brown! Brands used were of course SSS, Ranger, CTMH, and Poppy Stamps, Cottage Cutz and Picket Fence. Yes, I was late for the @colorthrowdown #ctd783 but I still finished! Bubbie cards! I might be back in the @colorthrowdown game, after the adulting needs of the fall/winter, lol. This week’s colours for #ctd781 : peach, yellow and green. Again with the #teamspellbinders #betterpress Cosmos plate, coloured with #distressoxide watercolour pencils and mica sprays. A couple of #simonsaysstamp Friendly Flowers stamps, Hugs die, Lucky reverse sentiments with the #pinkfresh ombré drops and Nuvo jewel drops to top ‘er off.
